Top ten break out players in the NFL this season

1.Michael Turner, RB Falcons – Now a lot of people have heard about Turner as a backup for LaDainian Tomlinson , but this is the first time he will be a feature back. I predict he will have a great season for the Falcons this year.

Projected Stats:1,400 rushing Yards, 300 receiving yards, 18 TDs

2.Vincent Jackson, WR Chargers – Jackson is a 6'5" 230lbs receiver with great speed and leaping ability. He will emerge as a big time threat this year as the Chargers No. 1 option.

Projected Stats:1,200 Yards, 12 TDs

3.Vernon Davis, TE 49ers – this one is overdue, San Fransisco made him the sixth pick of the draft in 2006 and so far he has not lived up to the billing, but fear not '08 will be a great season for Davis.

Projected Stats:850 yards, 7 TDs

4.Aaron Rodgers, QB Packers – Bret Favre has retired but fear not fellow Packer fans. Rodgers is actualy a better fit in this offense than Favre was, Favre was just playing in an offense that was being built for Rodgers.

Projected Stats:3,300 yards, 24 TDs, 15 INTs

5.Calvin Johnson, WR Detroit – the No. 2 pick of the 2007 draft will have a big year. Kitna is probably the best QB in the devision coming into this season and he will be force feeding the ball to Johnson no matter what.

Projected Stats:1050 yards, 13 TDs

6.AJ Hawk, OLB Packers – the fifth pick of the 2006 draft has been consistent so far but not great, this will be the year he will need to step up or face being considered a minor bust.

7.D'Brickashaw Ferguson, OT Jets – He is a great athlete for his size and this is the year that he will really bust it open and get the Jets running game rolling.

8.Ronald Curry, WR Raiders – over the last four games of the '07 season Curry had more catches than any other player in the NFL and a lot of those passes were thrown by Jamarcus Russel.

Projected Stats:950 yards, 7 TDs

9.Greg Olsen, TE Bears – The Bears don't have any good QBs so they will look for the tall TE when they get into trouble.

Projected Stats:700 yards, 8 TDs

10.Jason Cambel, QB Washington – Cambel had a good year for a young developing QB last year. I think he will take a big step and be considered one of the better QBs in the NFL this year.

Projected Stats: 3100 yards, 26 TDs, 17 INTs
