Klopp Comments on Henderson's Recovery
Friday, Nov. 27
"Jordan and Jordan [Henderson and Rossiter] trained today," Reds boss Jurgen Klopp said during his pre-match press conference ahead of Liverpool's encounter with Swansea. "Henderson wants [to return] I can say that!"
Henderson Presence Vital to Klopp's Style
The skipper has yet to feature under the new manager, and there’ll be a lot of supporters keen to see how he fares.
Henderson’s influence and energy at the heart of the Liverpool team seems tailor-made for Klopp’s preference for high-intensity football, while his leadership qualities will also embolden this Reds side when he does make a return to action.
Without the England international, James Milner, Emre Can and Lucas Leiva have formed a solid midfield trio, and it’ll be intriguing to see whether Henderson immediately regains his place in the starting XI once he's fully fit.
But it’s a positive problem for Klopp to have as the Reds gear up for what looks like a favourable run of fixtures heading into the festive period.
