Best Booking Options for Seth Rollins vs. Kane at WWE Hell in a Cell 2015

Donald WoodOct 24, 2015

When Seth Rollins defends his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Demon Kane at the Hell in a Cell 2015 pay-per-view, fans will be intrigued by how this match shakes out.

With the stipulation that if Demon Kane loses, Corporate Kane has to leave his position as Director of Operations, many wrestling fans believe there is a legitimate chance this bout ends with some sort of interference.

Here are the best booking options for the battle between Rollins and Kane at Hell in a Cell on Sunday.

Seth Rollins Needs a Clean Win

Few world champions in recent memory have been booked worse than Rollins, and what better way to give him some credibility than by having him beat a veteran like Kane at a PPV?

Unfortunately, watching Rollins win on both Raw and SmackDown this week leads many wrestling fans to believe something will happen at the conclusion of this match. He deserves and needs a clean victory, but all signs point to something much worse.

It’s confusing to think why WWE officials would book Rollins to lose so often, but with everyone thinking something fishy will happen, this is the perfect opportunity to give him the victory his character so desperately needs.

When the WWE Universe thinks the most unlikely booking outcome is the world champion winning clean, the creative is absolute awful.

Kane Wins via Disqualification

Another serious possibility is Demon Kane winning by count-out or disqualification, thus giving Rollins a “victory” and allowing Corporate Kane to keep his job. With the success of the dual-personality storyline, this could be far from over.

While one can argue that Kane’s storyline shouldn’t be the focal point of the world title scene, the focus for the company is on Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker, and Rollins has become an afterthought.

Kane’s split personality may be an angle for the midcard, but Rollins and the world title are on that secondary level.

There is no way Rollins drops the title to Kane Sunday, but the idea of Demon Kane earning a win via DQ in order to keep Corporate Kane is conceivable. With Rollins’ history of losing all the time, this outcome is the most likely.
