Chelsea Transfer News: Javier Pastore Eyed, Latest Radamel Falcao Rumours
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly eyeing a January move for Paris Saint-Germain's Javier Pastore as he looks to add further quality to his struggling midfield.
According to Italian outlet Calciomercato (h/t Metro's Will Giles), Pastore is seen as a potential addition at Chelsea who could help the Blues out of their current slump.
The defending Premier League champions currently lie 12th in the English top flight and have been beaten four times already this season.

Their midfield duo of Nemanja Matic and Cesc Fabregas—so brilliant in the Blues' successful 2014/15 campaign—have been dreadful so far this term, per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe:
Argentinian Pastore, 26, could be exactly the addition Chelsea need in the midfield to return them to winning ways.
Not only would he bring the creativity and verve that have been missing at Chelsea so far this season, but he would also likely spark improvement in Matic and Fabregas, as they would be fighting for their starting spots.
However, given that Pastore is contracted until 2019 at the Parc des Princes, only an astronomical offer from Chelsea would likely persuade PSG to part with him.
Even then it may not be a guarantee, as he is a vital component of Laurent Blanc's side, per French football expert Jonathan Johnson:
Mourinho historically likes to work with a small squad, and last season he benefited hugely from being able to field an in-form Matic and Fabregas in almost every game in the Premier League.
The strains of that campaign seem to be catching up with the pair of them, though. While Pastore would be a brilliant signing because of his quality, he would also add much needed depth to the Chelsea squad. But he may prove a difficult man to snap up.
Meanwhile, underperforming Chelsea striker Radamel Falcao could be set for a January loan move to Fiorentina.

The Serie A leaders are reportedly interested in signing the Colombian on loan in the new year, and Chelsea could be open to moving him on if they can get another striker on their books, per John Cross in the Mirror.
The report indicates that permission would need to be sought from Falcao's parent club Monaco.
But with the 29-year-old having failed to impress in his loan spells at Manchester United and Chelsea, he would surely be eager to force a move to Italy.
At Stamford Bridge, Falcao is third in the pecking order up front behind Diego Costa and Loic Remy, and Fiorentina could offer him the much needed chance of more regular playing time.
