Zach Mettenberger to Start vs. Falcons with Marcus Mariota Injured
For the first time since Week 14 in 2014, Zach Mettenberger will be starting at quarterback for the Tennessee Titans.
According to Terry McCormick of TitansInsider.com, Mettenberger is getting the call to start versus the Atlanta Falcons while Marcus Mariota recovers from the knee injury he suffered in last week's loss against the Miami Dolphins.
Mariota was diagnosed with a sprained MCL in his left knee after taking a low hit from Dolphins defensive lineman Olivier Vernon.

Mettenberger took over after Mariota's injury, completing five of his eight passes for 63 yards. The Titans have lost four consecutive games after opening the season with a 42-14 victory over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The Titans will have to be on point Sunday against an Atlanta offense that ranks third in points per game and fourth in yards per game.
A sixth-round pick out of LSU in 2014, Mettenberger started six games for the Titans last season and compiled an 0-6 record. He completed 59.8 percent of his passes with eight touchdowns and seven interceptions.
