Harry Douglas Says Julio Jones Has a Chance to Be Greatest Player in NFL History
Atlanta Falcons superstar Julio Jones may very well be the best wide receiver in the NFL right now, but a former teammate believes he has a chance to be the greatest overall player the sport of football has ever seen.
Tennessee Titans wideout Harry Douglas—who played alongside Jones with the Falcons from 2011 through 2014—made that bold proclamation in an interview with D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution on Wednesday:
"I know how much he put into. I know how hard he works and how much he loves the game. He does everything in his power to be successful and help his team in any way possible. That's not just catching balls. That's blocking, putting in time at the complex and in the weight room. Being able to play with him for all those years I did, I know his work ethic. I know he's an unbelievable player. Like I said, he has a chance to be the greatest player to ever play this game.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
Jones is just 26 years old, but he is already a two-time Pro Bowler and well on his way to the best season of his career.
Through just six games for the surprising 5-1 Falcons, the former University of Alabama standout already has 49 receptions for 638 yards and four touchdowns.
The 31-year-old Douglas had an up-close-and-personal look at Jones for many years as Atlanta's primary slot receiver, but he will be on the other sideline Sunday when his Titans host the Falcons.
Douglas' endorsement is significant, but Jones has a long way to go before he can be mentioned among all-time great receivers like Jerry Rice, let alone studs at other positions such as Joe Montana, Barry Sanders, Reggie White and others.
If Jones is able to maintain his current pace for many more years to come, however, Douglas may give Nostradamus a run for his money.
