Best Booking Options for New Day vs. Dudley Boyz at WWE Hell in a Cell 2015

Donald WoodOct 22, 2015

When The New Day defends its WWE Tag Team Championship against The Dudley Boyz on Sunday at the 2015 edition of Hell in a Cell, wrestling fans should be prepared to see a potential title change.

For weeks, the best part of Raw, SmackDown and pay-per-views has been the antics of The New Day, and the feud against The Dudley Boyz has been as great as the WWE Universe could have imagined.

Here are the best booking options for the tag team title match at WWE’s Hell in a Cell 2015.

Dudley Boyz Finally Win Tag Team Titles

The face duo of Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley returned to WWE programming with a bang, and the fans have been behind them ever since. As entertaining as The New Day has been, the trio is generating legitimate heat as heels.

The dichotomy between these two teams is flawless.

Hell in a Cell would be the perfect opportunity to finally put the belts on The Dudley Boyz, who have been chasing the titles since they returned in August. With The New Day likely having a rematch clause, this feud would undoubtedly continue on until Survivor Series.

The feud between Xavier Woods, Big E and Kofi Kingston against The Dudley Boyz has been great every week since the battle started, but ending it at Survivor Series would not allow wrestling fans to get tired of the matches.

If the Dudley Boyz win at Hell in a Cell and then retain at Survivor Series, The New Day could go on to feud with other tag teams before once again battling against Bubba Ray and D-Von further down the road.

New Day Retains, Opens Door for Enzo and Cass

For months, it has been a foregone conclusion that The Dudley Boyz were going to eventually win the tag team championships, but maybe that’s not the case. The veteran duo would be better used putting over younger teams and does not need the tag titles to be relevant.

If The New Day retains its championships, maybe there is something even bigger planned for the trio.

The New Day has successfully defended the tag team titles against The Dudley Boyz on several occasions, and retaining on Sunday would end the feud for the time being. With The New Day looking for something big to do next, this could be where Enzo Amore and Colin Cassady make their main roster debuts.

Enzo and Cass have been wallowing for months in NXT, and it’s about time they get called up to the main roster. The New Day is great on the mic and needs a team it can stand toe-to-toe with. There is no better option than the fast talking of Enzo and sheer size of Cass.

Please make The New Day vs. Enzo and Cass happen, WWE.
