Barcelona Transfer News: Latest Neymar Rumours Amid Ezequiel Lavezzi Speculation
Neymar's status at Barcelona will be unaffected by the reported arrival at the Camp Nou of Ezequiel Lavezzi from Paris-Saint Germain.
According to Ed Malyon in the Mirror, Lavezzi could confirm a deal in January to join long-term suitors Barcelona when his PSG contract expires in the summer.

However, unsurprisingly, the report indicates that the Argentine's arrival will in no way open up the possibility of Barca selling Neymar to Manchester United.
Lavezzi is a left-sided attacker like Neymar, but he will be brought in merely to add depth to the Barcelona attack that has been sorely lacking this season after injuries to Rafinha, Andres Iniesta and Lionel Messi, per Bleacher Report's Sam Tighe:
The Red Devils have undoubtedly shown interest in Neymar and the Brazil captain's father, Neymar Santos Sr, recently confirmed that the Premier League giants made an offer for his son in the summer, per Boa Tarde Fox (h/t Press Association via the Guardian).
But Barcelona turned United down and Neymar is clearly a big part of the Catalans' future plans.
He was a vital cog in their treble-winning side last season and the 23-year-old has taken up the attacking mantle early this season in Messi's absence.
Against Rayo Vallecano on Saturday he scored four times in a 5-2 victory, yet further proof that he is an invaluable part of the Barca attack.
Concerns have been raised recently as a lack of funds at the Camp Nou has prevented them from signing Neymar up to a new contract, per Ignasi Oliva on Goal.com.
However, the forward allayed any fears that he might not sign an extension to his current deal—which expires in 2018—by indicating he is already in talks, per beIN Sports (via Sky Sports): "The renewal is underway. I have many years of contract here and I'll sign, calm. The fans have to be calm."
Lavezzi would be a strong addition to Luis Enrique's squad, but he can in no way be seen as a replacement for Neymar.
The Brazilian superstar is improving as he gains more and more experience at the top level, and he is clearly set for a long stay at Barcelona.
