Manchester United Transfer News: Sofiane Feghouli, Marko Grujic Rumours Emerge
Manchester United are scouting midfielders Sofiane Feghouli and Marko Grujic, but they face competition from Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho as the Special One watches the duo.
Spanish website Fichajes.net (via Mark Brus of Metro) say the Premier League clubs want Valencia winger Feghouli, but Paris Saint-Germain lead the race for the talented Algerian.
The player's deal with Valencia ends in the summer, per Brus, with a host of clubs now taking an interest in his services, making him one of the world's most desirable free agents at the end of the current campaign.

At 25, Feghouli is now primed for a transfer to one of Europe's elite clubs, with his performances in La Liga winning him many fans since his move from French club Grenoble in 2010.
The player's form has been good this term, but he shone in 2014-15, scoring six goals and creating as many assists in 20 La Liga starts, per WhoScored.com. He often found himself preferred as an impact sub for the Mestalla team, coming off of the bench 13 times.
However, PSG could be the next move for the attacking midfielder, with the Parisians looking to replace Ezequiel Lavezzi, according to Fichajes.

Feghouli plays predominantly down the right side, able to feature as both a winger and a conventional midfielder. This would fit United coach Louis van Gaal's philosophy, as he looks for a more rounded right-sided individual, with Antonio Valencia looking unproductive as an attacking talent at present.
Yahoo's La Liga writer Andrew Gaffney says a local Valencia-based newspaper, Plaza Deportiva, now believe the attacker might be on his way to Tottenham Hotspur:
Feghouli is undoubtedly talented, but it is the lack of a transfer fee that will bring him attention in the coming months.
Europe's top clubs will continue to monitor his progress in Spain, and if he can replicate last year's form, he will have the pick of a number of dream moves to bigger suitors.
Van Gaal Wants Red Star Teenager
United are keeping an eye on Red Star Belgrade midfielder Grujic, with the 19-year-old drawing interest from Van Gaal and Mourinho.
Simon Jones of the Mail Online says the United coach has sent scouts to watch the teenage talent, with the young Serbian compared to Chelsea's Nemanja Matic.
Red Star want £3 million for the youngster, per Jones, with Chelsea having close ties with the Belgrade team and Grujic highlighted as a star for the near future.
United's midfield has dramatically improved this season with the additions of Morgan Schneiderlin and Bastian Schweinsteiger, but there are still holes to fill in the wider dynamics of the team's core.
Schweinsteiger and Michael Carrick are now on the wrong side of 30, meaning United need to find an energetic midfielder to pair with Schneiderlin in the campaigns ahead.
At the reported £3 million, Grujic would represent incredible value, especially if LvG could snap up the player and develop him at Carrington while he is young.
Anthony Martial has shown teenagers can come to England and make a big impression if they have their feet on the floor and allow their talent to do the talking.
