WWE 2K16: Details on Career Invasion, New Gameplay Options and More
Career Invasion was one of the more underrated features in WWE 2K15. It will return for WWE 2K16 and sounds as if its even better than it was last year.
For those who aren't aware of what the feature entails, here's a brief explanation: Essentially, your console—PlayStation 4 or Xbox One—will find the people on your friends list that also have a created MyCAREER Superstar and inject him or her into your single-player experience.
You won't know if they will appear as a friend or foe. You also won't know when they will show up. That's a pretty awesome concept. This year's additions to the feature were detailed by TheSmackDownHotel.com.

Predicting Next Moves for WWE Roster Cuts 🔮

Sane, Stratton, More Rumors 👂
This year, you'll be asked if you want to turn on Career Invasion when you start your MyCAREER journey. That might sound like a small thing, but last year you had to hunt for the option to turn it off or on in the created Superstars setting.
In addition to that functionality, you'll also have the option to infuse three created Superstars of your own into your MyCAREER. They will appear with the same level of mystery. If you create Kurt Angle and place him in one of the three created Superstar slots, he'll make an appearance at some point.
That's awesome.
Chairs and Reversals
New animations have been added as it pertains to the use of steel chairs. In previous versions, chairs would break unnaturally. This year, chair shots have new animations when used on the head or body of your opponent.
The reversal system has also received a much-needed upgrade, but if you want to keep the old one, you can. Previously, experienced players could reverse almost every move during a match, which could get really frustrating after a while.
In WWE 2K16, each Superstar or Diva begins the match with a specified amount of reversals and can earn more throughout the match. That system is far more fun, but some may not have had an issue with the original system. It's great that the game will offer the best of both worlds.
One Week Left
WWE 2K16 will release for PS4, PS3, Xbox One, Xbox 360 and PC on Tuesday, October 27. It's important to note that the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions will not have the MyCAREER option, but most of the other features will be there. Having played the game during the SummerSlam weekend, I can personally say that gameplay is improved over last year's edition.
The other features only serve to make the game more appealing prior to its release.
