Fells' Return Unlikely to Make Major Impact
Fells hasn’t had a breakout game since hauling in four catches for 82 yards and a touchdown in the Cardinals’ Week 1 win over the New Orleans Saints, but he’s been far more productive than Jermaine Gresham, who signed a one-year deal with the Cardinals this offseason.
Gresham has caught just nine passes on 16 targets for 113 yards in seven games and hasn't necessarily lived up to expectations, as Josh Weinfuss of ESPN noted:
But the Cardinals offense has made do regardless, currently ranked fourth overall (406.9 yards per game), meaning Fells' return won't dramatically shift the Arizona attack.
