Ballentine Tears Multiple Knee Ligaments
Monday, Oct. 19
Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reported Ballentine dislocated his knee while tearing his PCL and MCL. Ballentine, however, avoided an injury to his ACL.
Ballentine Adds to Injury Troubles in Houston Secondary
Ballentine was the second member of Houston's secondary injured in Sunday's game. The team announced earlier in the second half that Kareem Jackson would be out with an ankle injury.
Ballentine's absence won't have quite the same impact as Jackson's since the team listed him as the No. 3 free safety in its unofficial depth chart.
The bigger concern is for the player. Since he isn't a vital member of the Texans defense, you hope Ballentine can make a full recovery and regain his place on the Texans' roster.
