Trenton Robinson Injury: Updates on Redskins Safety's Ankle and Return
Daniel KramerOct 18, 2015
Washington Redskins safety Trenton Robinson was carted off the field in the team's Week 6 game against the New York Jets with a left ankle injury. However, Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com announced Robinson was not on the Redskins' list of inactive players asgainst the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Robinson is the team’s starting strong safety, and if he is forced to miss time against the Bucs, the Redskins will likely lean on Jeron Johnson, a relegated special teams asset who blocked a punt for a touchdown against the Jets.
