Washington Redskins safety Trenton Robinson was carted off the field in the team's Week 6 game against the New York Jets with a left ankle injury. However, Scott Smith of Buccaneers.com announced Robinson was not on the Redskins' list of inactive players asgainst the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Robinson is the teamā€™s starting strong safety, and if he is forced to miss time against the Bucs, the Redskins will likely lean on Jeron Johnson, a relegated special teams asset who blocked a punt for a touchdown against the Jets.Ā

Johnson spent four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks before signing with Washington this offseason.Ā
