Titans Sign Replacement For Schwenke

The Titans announced they've signed former 49er offensive lineman Joe Looney after placing Schwenke on the injured reserve.
Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported on Friday that Schwenke's will have a procedure that will end his season.
Schwenke Comments On Injury

“The support and positive words from all the friends, family and fans are helping in this tough time,’’ Schwenke said via Jim Wyatt of TitansOnline.com. “I want nothing more than to be playing alongside my teammates.”
Injury Further Hampers Titans' Weak Offensive Line
Sixth-round draft pick Andy Gallik replaced Schwenke following the injury, as the Titans' offensive line continued to struggle, allowing six sacks in the defeat. For the season, the Titans have allowed 20 sacks, the fourth-most in the league.
It has been a struggle for the Titans to keep rookie quarterback Marcus Mariota upright, with the former Oregon quarterback dealing with a knee injury suffered during the contest.
