Recap

Sullivan entered Sunday's round leading Eduardo de la Riva by five shots and produced yet another flawless performance, hitting five birdies and no bogeys on his way to a round of 66 and a nine-shot lead over the rest of the pack.

While his short game has stood out all week, he put everything together on Sunday, displaying fantastic control from the tee. Just look at this approach on the final hole, courtesy of the European Tour's official Twitter account:

Sullivan's win was never in doubt, with De la Riva struggling early, and the rest of the players sitting well behind him on the leaderboard. De la Riva finished the day with five bogeys and dropped down the standings.

That opened the door for Wood, one of Saturday's biggest risers, to climb the leaderboard and grab second place with a round of 68, staying one shot ahead of the trio of De la Riva, Anthony Wall and Trevor Fischer Jnr.

All eyes were on Sullivan all day long, however, and he finished the tournament in style, collecting birdies on the final two holes. As reported by the European Tour's official website, it was a special win for him:

"

Those two wins in South Africa were unbelievable but to show your peers that you can do it in Europe as well is unbelievable and to do it in front of so many people from my home golf club. My mum and dad are here and it's been incredible.

[…] Apprehensive to start, I was a little bit edgy and I think that putt on four really settled me down and from there onwards I just felt really comfortable all the way round.

I didn't really feel like I took that many risks until the end there and I just thought I'd play within myself and let them try and catch me. I'm not going to make any mistakes, and I didn't today.Bogey free is unbelievable, it's just what I wanted to do and it's just incredible.

"

European Tour golfer Paul Waring was in awe of what Sullivan was able to do all week long:

Craig Lee rose all the way to sixth place with a superb round of six under, a fantastic finish for the Scotsman who entered the tournament in 120th place in the Race to Dubai but now finds himself in the thick of the action.

Anders Hansen finished his 420th and final European Tour event with a round of 69, to end up 22nd.
