Giroux Active vs. Coyotes
Saturday, Feb. 27
John Boruk of CSN Philadelphia reported Giroux is back in the lineup for Saturday's game against Arizona.
Giroux Is Irreplaceable Talent for Flyers
Giroux has been one of the NHL's most durable players over the last six seasons, including in the first 57 games this year, missing a total of just six games since the 2009-10 season. One of those absences in 2012 was due to a suspension.
The 28-year-old is revered for his all-around skill set, ranking 18th on the Hockey News' (via SwissHabs, h/t Greg Wyshynski of Yahoo Sports) preseason list of the top 50 players, with the report labeling him "one of the most creative and deceptive setup men."
