Cristiano Ronaldo Is Presented with His Record 4th European Golden Shoe

Real Madrid and Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo has been presented with his fourth Golden Shoe, for his goalscoring exploits in the 2014/15 season with the Spanish giants.

Ronaldo becomes the fourth player to receive the trophy on four different occasionsโ€”that's one more than Barcelona's Lionel Messi and two more than the likes of Eusebio, Gerd Muller and Thierry Henry.

Ronaldo scored 48 goals for Madrid last season, bettering his hauls in the three other seasons he won the award: 2007/08 (31), 2010/11 (40) and 2013/14 (31).

He took to Facebook shortly after the presentation to thank his club and fans.
