One of the best acts on WWE programming every single week is tag team champions The New Day, and it’s imperative that the heel trio is booked strongly at the 2015 edition of Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25.

Each time Big E, Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods hit the ring on Raw and SmackDown, they have the WWE Universe in the palm of their hands. Add in a feud against a legendary team like The Dudley Boyz, and WWE Creative is surprisingly not screwing up this storyline.

Here are the best booking options for The New Day at WWE Hell in a Cell 2015.

Dudley Boyz Win Tag Team Titles

Since returning to WWE, Bubba Ray and D-Von have been hunting for the tag team championships, and the likeliest outcome at the pay-per-view is a title change.

It’s not that The New Day hasn’t been great with the titles. It has. Instead, putting the title on The Dudley Boyz would allow the fans to get the payoff they have been waiting for since the duo returned to WWE programming.

Additionally, it would also allow The New Day to go on a title hunt of its own and eventually get the belts back. As the most entertaining heels in the company, stealing the belts back from The Dudley Boyz at Survivor Series would be an enthralling storyline.

While playing hot potato with any title is almost never a good idea, anything that continues the program between the two best tag teams in the WWE right now is worth it.

Dusty Finish

Another possibility for Hell in a Cell is a classic Dusty Finish. Instead of simply giving The Dudley Boyz the titles, letting the fans think the veteran duo won before changing the decision would result in the WWE Universe being even more emotionally invested in the angle.

After a long battle between the two sides on PPV, The Dudley Boyz could collect a pinfall victory and earn the championships.

Unfortunately, due to shenanigans from The New Day, the Dudleys would have pinned the non-legal member of the opposing team, nullifying the victory.

Not only would this have the WWE Universe furious at the heel trio for stealing the victory once again, it would also ensure that the feud continued on for at least another month. Many fans don’t want programs that last several months, but with The New Day and The Dudley Boyz clearly being the two best teams in the company, this is the ideal booking.

The longer The New Day feuds with The Dudley Boyz, the more enjoyable it will be for the fans when the veteran tag team finally captures another set of tag team titles.
