Barcelona Transfer News: Neymar Wants Stay, Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba Rumours
Barcelona front man Neymar has seemingly committed his future to the Spanish giants, expressing his desire to “make history” in Catalonia during an interview with the club website.
The Brazilian was heavily linked with a world-record move to Manchester United over the summer—as Jamie Jackson of the Guardian reported—but when reflecting on his time at the Camp Nou, Neymar insisted that winning more silverware is all that’s on his agenda, via Marca.
“My adaptation to the team was quite easy. Everything helped—the club, my teammates, the city, my family. I want to go on making history with Barcelona; I want to win more trophies.”

Controversy in Champions League Semi

Projecting Spain's World Cup Squad 🇪🇸

Neymar has been something of a revelation in Barcelona since joining the club in 2013, scoring and assisting countless goals and forming a dynamic attacking trio with Luis Suarez and Lionel Messi.
He recently made his 100th appearance for the club and marked the occasion with a goal—something he’s gotten rather used to in the famous red and blue shirt. Barcelona’s official Twitter feed displayed some of Neymar’s highlights:
The 23-year-old also spoke of how he’s changed his life for the better during his time in Spain, before discussing the relationship between him and his fellow lethal strike partners:
“I've changed the way I play and my life, and all for the better. The city has helped me a great deal and I am very happy. ... We [Neymar, Messi and Suarez] have a friendly relationship, and this has surprised people who thought we wouldn't get on. But I knew that wouldn't be the case.”

Times are looking tough at Barcelona with Messi on the sidelines, yet the fact that Neymar will remain at the Camp Nou for the foreseeable future will bring nothing but encouragement.
But who else will be lining up for Luis Enrique’s men in the years to come? The club’s transfer embargo will be lifted in January and could see them do a bit of shopping.
Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba Linked

Barcelona’s star-studded midfield could welcome a pair of new stars when the transfer window reopens, as Ander Herrera and Paul Pogba have been linked with moves to the Camp Nou.
Herrera, who moved to Manchester United just last summer for a reported £29 million, has found chances few and far between under Louis van Gaal, which could well open the door for a move back to his homeland, as Tom Hopkinson of the Sunday People reported, via Daily Mirror.
The midfielder has had to get used to sitting on the Old Trafford bench this season, despite producing the goods when called upon.

And it seems that Herrera’s desperation for first-team football could play a big part in his future. Speaking with MUTV, the Spaniard said that he’s willing to play anywhere for United to enhance his chances of making Spain’s Euro 2016 squad, via Simon Bajkowski of Manchester Evening News.
"I think I am ready to help the team [at United], help my team-mates, and I am going to play wherever the manager wants me to play. So I am doing the right things to get into the national team but, of course, the [international] manager will decide.
Barcelona, then, could well come calling to give Herrera what he wants, and Hopkinson reported that club scouts have been watching the star over recent weeks.

Another man reportedly on their radar Pogba, who was the subject of intense transfer rumours from every corner over the course of the summer.
Barcelona are one of few clubs that could afford to land the talented Frenchman, and Rhys Turrell of the Daily Star writes that the Catalan giants are very much interested in getting him on their books.

He’s not the only one, though, with Ilkay Gundogan, Marco Verratti, Lars Bender, Riechedly Bazoer and Youri Tielemans also said to be on the club’s wish list.
A spending spree in January would be far from a surprise, yet Barca must focus on landing the right players to add to their talented setup.
Neymar’s commitment keeps the spine of Enrique’s side intact, but adding a creative midfielder and a solid centre-back will only enhance their credentials for domestic and European success.
