Gianni VerschuerenOct 10, 2015

Kiradech Aphibarnrat and Matthew Fitzpatrick are on top of the leaderboard after Saturday's British Masters 2015 action, leading a host of players by a single shot and setting up a fantastic final day of golf in Round 4.

The two youngsters have been in great form all week, with neither shooting a single round over 69, and they took full advantage of some of their struggling opponents on Saturday.

Here's a look at the leaderboard after Round 3:

Recap

Aphibarnrat has been one of the most in-form golfers on the European Tour in 2015, and he continued to show his considerable talent on Saturday with a round of 67, his third straight day with the same score.

The 26-year-old played his first flawless round of the tournament while making birdie on four occasions.

This superb putt was one of them, courtesy of the European Tour's official Twitter account:

Aphibarnrat has already bagged two titles this season and has been remarkably consistent at the British Masters, so the young man from Thailand will like his chances of winning the Masters on Sunday.

As shared by this fan, he feels he can do even better on Sunday:

He'll have to get past Fitzpatrick, however, and given the way the 21-year-old has been playing, that won't be an easy task.

The Englishman kept his composure after bogeying the second hole, hitting three birdies on the front-nine and finishing with a score of 68.

Fitzpatrick came within inches of the solo lead, but his birdie putt on the 17th just shaved past the hole.

Fabrizio Zanotti finished the day one shot back of the leaders courtesy of a clean round of 66, hitting five birdies and an eagle to go with two bogeys.

His highlight of the day came on the seventh, when he hit the perfect approach to set up his eagle, via the European Tour's official Twitter account:

The Italian is tied with Soren Kjeldsen for third place, with the former leader struggling on Saturday, carding a two-under. Kjeldsen bogeyed the second and 13th hole and couldn't find his range from the tee, missing the fairway at a far higher rate than the first two days of competition.

That said, he looked solid on his saves and had some bad luck with his putting on Saturday. Facing just a one-shot deficit, Kjeldsen remains among the favourites to win the tournament on Sunday. One of many, that is.

Cricket legend Shane Warne has no idea who will win this year's tournament:

Luke Donald was one of the standout performers on Saturday, taking the early lead with a round of six-under. The Brit was flawless on the day, with two birdies on the front-nine and four more on the back-nine.

The 37-year-old now sits nine-under for the tournament, and while he'll have a hard time chasing down the leaders on Sunday, he has put himself in a position to challenge if the rest of the pack fails to control their nerves.

Romain Wattel also sits nine-under thanks to a round of 67 on Saturday. With so many strong players within striking distance of the two leaders, Sunday's final round is shaping up to be must-watch television.
