Internet Reacts to Live-Tracking Coverage of Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool Flight

According to multiple reports, Jurgen Klopp has agreed to a deal to become the new Liverpool manager.

Brendan Rodgers was sacked as Anfield boss Sunday, and all the chatter since has been about the charismatic German taking over on Merseyside. But now it looks as though the wait is over.

Now that's not exactly shocking given the events of the past few days, but the reaction of the media Thursday was on another level.

The Liverpool Echo had minute-by-minute updates of the former Borussia Dortmund man's movements throughout the day and even shared a live tracker of his flight from Dortmund to Liverpool. No, really.

But given a couple of false sightings of the German earlier in the day—and indeed earlier in the week—it was a relief to know there was one source we could rely on.

Because in the end, the real thing was somewhat underwhelming.
