The New Day vs. the Dudley Boyz Announced for WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 PPV

The New Day have managed to avoid dropping the WWE Tag Team Championship on two different occasions against The Dudley Boyz, but their luck may run out at Hell in a Cell.

On Monday night's edition of Raw, Stephanie McMahon announced Kofi Kingston, Big E and Xavier Woods will be forced to put their belts on the line against Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley, per WWE:

The Dudleys are technically 2-0 against The New Day, having won at Night of Champions and the live event Saturday at Madison Square Garden. However, both of those matches involved interference by Xavier Woods, which meant the tag titles couldn't change hands.

Former WWE referee Jimmy Korderas wonders whether The Dudley Boyz will try to find an insurance plan for Woods in their next clash:

The New Day have been among the top highlights on Raw on a weekly basis, and their "Save the Tables" movement has given fans moments of pure comedy gold:

With that said, the time has come for Kingston and Big E to drop the tag titles. Having The Dudley Boyz hold the belts would open up some new feuds in the tag division, and The New Day could move on to potentially compete for individual honors, which would help them stay fresh.

Whatever happens at Hell in a Cell, though, don't be surprised if The New Day and the Dudleys have one more blowoff match at Survivor Series.
