Charlotte vs. Nikki Bella Announced for WWE Hell in a Cell 2015 PPV

Charlotte now has her first WWE Divas Championship defense set, as she'll take on former champion Nikki Bella at Hell in a Cell on Oct. 25, per WWE.com's Bobby Melok.

Nikki dropped the Divas title to Charlotte at Night of Champions, thus ending her record-setting reign. Given the fact Charlotte will have held the belt for a little over a month, it seems highly unlikely she'd lose to Nikki at Hell in a Cell.

The far more likely outcome is a clean victory for Charlotte or some sort of disqualification involving Paige. WWE tipped its hand with Paige's promo on the Sept. 21 edition of Raw:

That storyline continued through the live event at Madison Square Garden over the weekend, when Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch teamed up to wrestle Team Bella. Becky and Charlotte abandoned Paige during the match, leaving her at a three-on-one disadvantage, and Team Bella picked up the win.

Charlotte is one of the most talented female wrestlers in WWE and should be the cornerstone of the Divas division. Having her lose the title so soon would be a confounding decision should it happen.

If Nikki loses, she might be better off taking an extended break and returning around WrestleMania season—though it might be out of the question considering her involvement on Total Divas. Being out of the Divas title picture would marginalize Nikki somewhat, so removing her from WWE television until she has a major feud again might benefit everybody involved.
