Picking those big-money players for the NFL slate is the easy part, but finding the high-value guys to really make your DraftKings lineup boom is the difference between winning and losing.
For Week 4, DK is flooded with such options that are must-haves in order to save the proper salary for surefire weapons while not conceding any points in the way of bad picks. Even with a number of byes filling the slate for the fourth week of the season, there's no shortage of options available.
With that in mind, let's look at the best value picks for each position entering Week 4.
|Andy Dalton (Bengals)||KC||25.2||$5,900||21.1|
|Tyrod Taylor (Bills)||NYG||23.1||$5,800||18.8|
|Derek Carr (Raiders)||CHI||19.0||$5,300||20.2|
Don't look now, but the early-career struggles of Andy Dalton have seemingly made way for a breakout season. The Cincinnati Bengals gunslinger is throwing hot fire at the moment, coming off of a 35-point performance in Week 4, and is facing a Chiefs defense currently ranked 31st against quarterbacks.
Tyrod Taylor just continues to give the Bills offense that extra layer of playmaking, even more with his arms than his legs. With six touchdowns in his last two games combined and two straight games with 24 or more DK points, Taylor should keep it up against the Giants.
Rounding out QB value picks is second-year quarterback Derek Carr, who should keep the Raiders' strong offensive start going against the lowly Chicago Bears defense.
|Frank Gore (Colts)||JAX||11.2||$4,700||23.5|
|Chris Johnson (Cardinals)||STL||14.0||$4,500||18.9|
|Karlos Williams (Bills)||NYG||14.4||$3,400||19.1|
Frank Gore's start to his Colts career has come along slowly, but it began showing signs of life in Week 3. His two-touchdown game at Tennessee was his first double-digit outing of the season in DK, and he should be in line for more against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
Even with Andre Ellington soon to return, Chris Johnson should continue getting the brunt of the Cardinals' workload. Coming off of a two-touchdown, 120-yard outing in Week 3, Johnson looks like his old self again, as NFL Fantasy Football noted:
The worst-kept secret in fantasy this week is Karlos Williams' dirt-cheap tag of $3,400, which is insane considering he'll be the Bills' feature back this week. LeSean McCoy is out of the running for the time being, which will allow Williams to torch the Giants.
|Marvin Jones (Bengals)||JAX||12.5||$3,800||16.1|
|Rueben Randle (Giants)||BUF||11.5||$4,500||20.5|
|Doug Baldwin (Seahawks)||DET||13.1||$4,200||20.1|
It all starts with A.J. Green, but the Bengals' passing attack is relying more and more upon Marvin Jones—especially with Dalton looking dangerous. Jones is fresh off of a 20-point DK performance against Baltimore and should keep it up against the Chiefs' lowly secondary.
As Victor Cruz continues his injury woes and Odell Beckham Jr. gets special treatment from defenses, Giants wideout Rueben Randle will continue getting targets. A quiet opening two weeks was followed by a 116-yard, one-touchdown performance against Washington, which Randle should look to continue.
No. 2 wideouts also tend to have success against Buffalo, as Ben Heisler of 610 Sports noted:
Doug Baldwin's workload is never certain, given the Seahawks' run-first identity. But he already has one big outing in 2015, and with Marshawn Lynch likely on the bench, Russell Wilson will look toward his trusted wideout.
