Matt Petersen of Suns.com announced Bledsoe will play tonight.
How Bledsoe's Return Impacts Suns
The Suns have been trying to build a team that is capable of contending for a playoff spot in the Western Conference but have finished under .500 in four of the last five seasons.
Bledsoe, entering his third year with the Suns, has become the face of the franchise. He missed 39 games in 2013-14 because of leg injuries but came back strong last season with 17.0 points and 6.1 assists per contest over 81 games.
Losing that production at guard knocked the Suns down, though they made due with Tyson Chandler holding down the paint and Brandon Knight at point guard.
Unfortunately, because of the depth in the Western Conference, Bledsoe has to be the star Phoenix expects if it wants to make any noise. Losing him for any length of time going forward makes the roster substantially weaker.
