Seth Rollins, CM Punk, Bray Wyatt and More from the Blank Check Mailbag

Seth Rollins' feud with Kane was fun at first, but it's beginning to drive off the rails. On Raw, the always uncomfortable employee-evaluation segment, combined with Kane's miraculous ankle, was just too much. But how has this tomfoolery affected Rollins' run as champion?

Seth Rollins: Worst Champion Ever (or at least in the past 20 years?)

Following multiple feuds that were infused with more comedy than competition, it's easy to dismiss Rollins' current reign as a joke.

Creatively, Rollins' title reign has been tough to watch at times, but he is exempt from the "worst champion ever" discussion on the merits of his wrestling ability. As WWE champion, Rollins has had memorable pay-per-view matches against Dean Ambrose, John Cena and most recently Sting.

Rollins' ability to work his tail off in big matches saves him from being considered a paper champion. If Rollins ever gets from underneath the parental shadow of The Authority and becomes a babyface world champion, we might be having a "best champion ever" discussion.

Bray Wyatt's Next Feud?

I don't think even WWE has an answer to this question. Wyatt's feud with Ambrose and Roman Reigns seems like it has been dragging on forever.

The most logical choice for Wyatt's next feud is Randy Orton. Orton is one of the few top babyfaces with whom Wyatt has yet to have a full-blown singles feud, and their styles would work well together. Orton's smooth, technical style would complement Wyatt's hard-hitting attack.

It's surprising WWE has gone this long without a Wyatt-Orton match on pay-per-view, but it would be a welcome feud. The sooner Wyatt's current feud ends, the better for all parties involved.

Question of the Week: Cash Money Punk?

You can never rule anything out at WWE. The second UFC and CM Punk part ways, regardless of his age, I think WWE will be open to having him back, especially if Vince McMahon is still at the helm.

Punk was unkind to Triple H during his infamous podcast interview with Colt Cabana, but even if Triple H takes over, I'd venture to think he'd at least consider a CM Punk return.

The WWE Network needs to continue producing original and intriguing content in order to keep its subscriber count healthy, so every big star within shouting distance of WWE should be considered for future projects.

Imagine a live Steve Austin podcast featuring CM Punk.

Punk is one of the biggest stars of the modern era, and one of the biggest disappointments of his abrupt exit is that he just missed the explosion of the NXT generation.

Potential matches against Kevin Owens, heel Seth Rollins and a host of others would've combined good promos with great wrestling, which would've satisfied both wrestling nerds and (some) casual fans.

IC Nothing?

This was a topic of conversation during the recent Table For Three special featuring former IC champions Dolph Ziggler, Daniel Bryan and Ryback. It was fascinating to hear Bryan talk about not wanting to be on Raw as intercontinental champion, because it immediately devalues the title when juxtaposed against more high-profile feuds and wrestlers.

Bryan has a point. It will be difficult for the intercontinental title to exist on the same show as Cena's United States Championship challenge, Seth Rollins' WWE Championship shenanigans, The Authority, a forced Divas revolution and The New Day.

At that point, the IC title is the popcorn division.

WWE might need to add some exclusivity to the title to make it matter again. The title can be featured prominently on a new-look SmackDown once the show moves to the USA Network.

Another, riskier proposition is to allow the intercontinental champion to compete and defend the title on NXT. Given the brand's focus on wrestling, defending the title in great matches on NXT would bring it back to its workhorse roots.
