The team announced Davis was available to play on Sunday against the Oakland Raiders.
Latest on Davis' Practice Status
Friday, Dec. 11
"Davis had his helmet on and took part in the individual periods of practice," Mason wrote. "He worked without a helmet Thursday—as did all of his teammates—and was still in the post-concussion protocol after Thursday's practice, in which he was limited."
Davis Looking to Revitalize Career with Broncos
The Broncos surprised many NFL fans when they acquired Davis from the San Francisco 49ers. Taken in tandem with Denver's pursuit of Joe Thomas, per Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, general manager John Elway did everything he could to capitalize on the team's dwindling window for success—at least with Peyton Manning.
Of course, you wonder how much Davis even has left in the tank. He caught just 26 passes for 245 yards and two touchdowns despite playing in 14 games last year. Having Colin Kaepernick at quarterback was bound to shrink Davis' production somewhat, but even taking that into account, he looked terrible in 2014.
The Broncos offense has shown signs of improvement with Brock Osweiler, and that should continue with Davis on the field.
