Anderson Adds Weapon Behind Osweiler
Anderson had seven carries for 42 yards and one reception for 12 yards before exiting the game against the Chargers. Heading into Week 13, he had 117 carries for 496 yards and three touchdowns in 2015.
He tallied 849 rushing yards, 324 receiving yards and 10 total touchdowns last season and earned a Pro Bowl nod in the process. However, he hasn’t been as effective this year.
While Anderson has gotten lost at times in 2015, he revitalized the Denver offense during the stretch run in 2014 and topped 80 rushing yards in five of the final six games, including two contests in which he tallied more than 160 yards. The Broncos need a strong running game this year to take some of the pressure off 25-year-old quarterback Brock Osweiler’s shoulders.
