WWE Hell in a Cell 2015: Feuds That Will Increase Excitement for Event

Aaron BowerSep 29, 2015

Given how there's only one match confirmed so far for this year's Hell in a Cell, it might be difficult on first glance to pick out the feuds that will get fans excited for the event.

But with storylines developing all the time, it's easy to see which rivalries will catch the eye and make fans tune in to the event next month.

The only announced bout obviously ranks as one, but here's a couple more which will raise the excitement level for the event.

The New Day vs. The Dudley Boyz

How could a match involving The New Day not get fans excited at the moment?

It's without doubt one of the hottest properties WWE has on its hands at the moment, and all three members of the group deserve huge credit for how they've made this gimmick work.

The trio looked doomed at one stage, most notably in its debut as a babyface group, but in turning heel and slowly getting the crowd onside with its entertaining gimmick, it's become a real hit.

So throw The Dudley Boyz into the mix, and you've got all the makings of something very special at Hell in a Cell.

Whether there will be a stipulation involved is as yet unclear, but the chemistry these two teams have produced thus far suggests we're in for a great match at Hell in a Cell.

Bubba Ray and D-Von have looked in great shape since coming back to WWE, so hopefully this feud will be given plenty of TV time between now and HIAC to ensure it's a hit.

Seth Rollins vs. Kane

People might be slightly suspicious with this particular nomination, but there's every possibility that Seth Rollins vs. Kane could be an exciting feud in the weeks to come.

Booking Kane so that he's gotten into Rollins' head and is constantly attacking him has made Rollins look more vulnerable than ever before. The champ is looking over his shoulder quite a lot, which should make for some good cat-and-mouse action as we head into Hell in a Cell.

Having Kane practically declare his goal to win the WWE World Heavyweight Championship by raising it up on Raw means that there's a brand new challenger to Rollins, too, and interestingly, it's someone who used to stand by his side.

That brings in The Authority; its whole role in this could also be interesting. Will it be torn in looking after either its handpicked champion or the Director of Operations? Or will it stand to the side and allow these two to slug it out on their own?

It might not be the most enthralling and entertaining world title feud in history, but Seth Rollins and Kane seem to be on a really interesting collision course at the moment, as the champ's grip on the title appears to loosen by the week.

Brock Lesnar vs. The Undertaker

Considering the controversy from their previous meeting at SummerSlam, the rematch between Brock Lesnar and Undertaker will certainly be interesting.

It was expected that it would be at WrestleMania next year, but WWE has acted early and made it happen just a couple of months after SummerSlam, which is a smart move.

The dust still hasn't fully settled on that result, and with WWE hinting at a heel turn for Undertaker, judging by the manner of his victory against Lesnar, it's wise to have him back in the ring so soon.

Holding off for five or six months would have only seen that heel momentum fade, as well as an inevitable babyface pop when he emerged after so long away. Here, WWE can keep building Taker as a credible heel.

And the sheer fact that it's Lesnar vs. Taker once again means that this one needs little selling. The odd promo from Paul Heyman here and there, and both men's appearances on the go-home Raw will be all this needs.

Of all the likely matches at Hell in a Cell, this one will most excite the fans.
