Cowboys' Randle Rushes for 3 Touchdowns in 1st Half
Dallas Cowboys running back Joseph Randle had three rushing touchdowns during the first half of Sunday's 39-28 loss to the Atlanta Falcons, marking the first time since 2012 (Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson) that a player has run for three touchdowns in the first half of an NFL game, per ESPN Stats & Info.
Randle got off to a roaring start Sunday afternoon, with his first carry going for 28 yards and his second tote going for a 37-yard touchdown.
He took his third carry for another 20 yards, and while he didn't find any room to run for the rest of the day, he still managed to add a pair of one-yard touchdowns before halftime.

Despite the red-hot start, Randle finished with 87 rushing yards on 14 carries, as his final 11 carries netted just two yards.
With the Falcons mounting an impressive comeback from early deficits of 21-7 and 28-14, the Cowboys largely turned to backup running back Lance Dunbar, who caught all 10 of his targets for 100 receiving yards but only had one carry for five yards.
Although he's still just one part of a three-man committee with Dunbar and Darren McFadden, Randle became the first Cowboys player since Emmitt Smith on Thanksgiving Day in 1998 to run for three touchdowns in a single half, per ESPN Stats & Info.
