Manchester United Transfer News: Tahith Chong Talks Held Amid Chelsea Rumours
Manchester United have reportedly held talks over the January signing of Feyenoord youngster Tahith Chong, but Chelsea are looking to hijack the move.
The 15-year-old forward has caught the eye in the Netherlands, and he will be allowed to transfer away from Feyenoord in January when he turns 16.
According to Alan Nixon in the Sun, the Red Devils have already been in talks to sign Chong, but the Blues are aiming to lure him to Stamford Bridge as they look to boost their youth ranks.

Chong is still incredibly young and has much developing to do but he has impressed with Feyenoord. He can play in the midfield and up front and is blessed with decent pace and an eye for goal.
Per MailOnline's Simon Jones, United have been interested in the Dutchman for some time, first coming across him when he appeared at the Premier Cup tournament played at United’s Carrington training complex in 2014.
However, he has not escaped the interest of Chelsea either, and the Premier League rivals may go head to head to sign him in January.
The Red Devils have a long history of promoting youth which has been maintained in recent times despite spending on more-established stars having increased under Dutch manager Louis van Gaal, per ESPN FC's Miguel Delaney.

Chelsea have a less-auspicious youth setup but are clearly eager to strengthen their ranks and Chong's potential could see the Blues fight for him.
Chong is unlikely to trouble the first-team squad at either United or Chelsea—should he move to one of them—for at least another two years.
However, 19-year-old Anthony Martial has shown with his early form at Old Trafford that teenagers can excel in the Premier League.
Rumoured interest from United and Chelsea in Chong is a testament to his talent and January could see the two clubs tussling to sign him up.
