The Chargers did not list Dunlap as inactive against the Oakland Raiders.
Dunlap Has History of Concussions
Michael Gehlken of the San Diego Union-Tribune called Dunlap's concussion "troubling." A former seventh-round pick, Dunlap has an extended history of concussions. He suffered three alone in the 2013 season, limiting him to 11 games overall in that campaign.
The Chargers offensive line has been decimated by injuries through the first five weeks of the season, as Dunlap's fellow lineman Orlando Franklin and D.J. Fluker have also battled injuries.
Dunlap, who agreed to a new four-year deal in San Diego this offseason, is one of the NFL's most underrated tackles. Pro Football Focus ranked him as the 23rd-best offensive tackle in football last season, and he was sixth a year prior.
