The St. Louis Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers were unable to kick off at their scheduled 1 p.m. ET start time after pyrotechnics during the Rams' entrance ignited a small fire on the turf of the Edward Jones Dome.

NFL.com posted a video of the incident, during which no one was injured:

ESPN.com's Nick Wagoner and CBS shared photos of officials attempting to repair the turf so the game could get underway:

Rams turf near end zone caught fire briefly from pregame pyrotechnics. Fire extinguishers used and now being cleaned. http://t.co/o8uAO1S3tb

So, they're not footballing in St. Louis just yet. http://t.co/tHd5e5KTyJ

Both teams are looking to improve to 2-1 on the season.
