Allsports Commentary: What was Patrick Kane Thinking?
I thought that for sports news or sports on the web today I would comment on an article I saw in the Toronto Sun a while back. Yes I know it is a little after the fact but what can you do, there is only so much time in a day.
The article states that Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks and his cousin pleaded guilty to a non-criminal charge of disorderly conduct for roughing up a Buffalo Taxi Driver over the issue of 20 cents. Yes you read it correctly, 20 frigging cents. Patrick what the hell were you thinking, well I guess you were not. Here is a kid with million dollar hands and legs giving a poor taxi driver the business over nothing.

Allsports thinks Kane should know by now that he is a roll model for kids everywhere who play the game of hockey. Wake up Patrick and promote the game properly because without the game you are nothing. Don’t give people the chance to label you with “million dollar legs and a 10 cent brain”. Smarten up and act like an adult, you are after all 20 years old. You’re lucky your sentence was reduced and you were not charged with assault and put in jail to cool your heels. How would you feel then, bone head.
Allsports wonders why there was no community service attached to the sentence. Maybe a couple of hundred hours of talking to kids much less fortunate than him would help him wake up. He can count himself truly lucky.
