
Cam Newton Surprises 10-Year-Old Cancer Patient at Halloween Party
On Friday, Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton put on his Superman cape and surprised Elijah, a 10-year-old boy from North Carolina who is terminally ill with a rare form of cancer.
Elijah, a huge Auburn fan, was having a Halloween party, because doctors aren't sure if he'll make it to the end of October, per Xavier Walton of NBC Charlotte.
"As a mom it absolutely melts your heart," Becky Hughes, Elijah's mom, said. "It brings tears to my eyes."
