NFL Daily Fantasy Betting Lines: Luck Points Over/Under, Bell vs. Peterson Odds

OddsShark.comSep 24, 2015

The Indianapolis Colts are 0-2 for the second straight season, and no team in NFL history has ever made the playoffs both years when that has happened.

While Indianapolis quarterback Andrew Luck has yet to throw for more than 250 yards, oddsmakers expect that to change Sunday when the Colts visit the Tennessee Titans, who they have beaten seven consecutive times.

Daily fantasy sports players have been waiting for Luck’s breakthrough game, as his over/under for total points is set at 22.5.

So far Luck has thrown more interceptions (five) than touchdowns (three) after enjoying a career year in 2014. In the first meeting with the Titans at home last season, he threw for 393 yards with four touchdowns and just one interception. The second meeting took place in Week 17 at Tennessee when the Colts had already clinched the AFC South, with Luck totaling 160 yards, two touchdowns and no picks.

Another struggling signal-caller is involved in a head-to-head DFS total points prop against a veteran quarterback who has done surprisingly well this year.

Sam Bradford of the Philadelphia Eagles (0-2) is a -140 betting favorite against journeyman Ryan Fitzpatrick of the New York Jets (2-0), who is now listed as a pick’em in the matchup while playing for his sixth different team.

The Eagles visit the Jets as 2.5-point road underdogs, with Bradford totaling 560 yards, two touchdowns and four interceptions in the first two games compared to 423, four and two for Fitzpatrick.

Pittsburgh Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell will make his 2015 debut after missing the first two games due to a suspension for violating the league’s substance-abuse policy.

Bell is a +110 underdog to have more fantasy football points for the Steelers (1-1) than Adrian Peterson (-150) of the Minnesota Vikings (1-1), who busted out with 134 rushing yards on 29 carries last week after being limited to 31 on 10 in the season opener. Peterson missed almost all of last year due to a personal-conduct suspension and will face the San Diego Chargers at home while Bell visits the St. Louis Rams.

Another Pittsburgh player, Antonio Brown, is again leading the NFL in receiving yards and sits as a solid -175 favorite to have more fantasy points than Demaryius Thomas (+145) of the Denver Broncos (2-0).

Brown has 18 receptions for 328 receiving yards and two touchdowns this season compared to Thomas, who has yet to score but has made 15 catches for 176 yards and plays the Detroit Lions on Sunday night.
