Ivory Comments on Severity of Injury
Thursday, Oct. 29
Ivory said his hamstring feels "fine, according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.
"I felt a little tightness in my hamstring the first play," Ivory said, per Seth Walder of the New York Daily News, who provided additional details:
"He [Ivory] added that he thought he wasn't as warm coming out of the locker room after pregame as he maybe would have liked to be.
They took out Ivory for a series, here or there, while the running back tried to stretch out the sore muscle. He ultimately played most of the game but even he admitted that his hamstring was affecting him.
"Yeah," Ivory said. "I didn't have the confidence in getting around the edge."
"I'm fine," he said. "I'm ready to go for next week."

Ivory Critical to Jets' Success
This New York team is built around a stout defense and a physical style of play, and Ivory runs with as much power and authority as any back in football.
Ivory's contact-seeking style has led to injury issues in the past—including a sprained MCL in 2010, a Lisfranc fracture in 2011, a sports hernia procedure in 2011 and a pulled hamstring in 2012 and 2013—though he did make it through all 16 games for the first time in five seasons as a pro in 2014.
If Ivory is forced to miss time this season, it will likely be up to Zac Stacy, who played 35 snaps in Week 7, to pick up the slack in the backfield.
Through five games, Ivory has accumulated 501 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns on 100 attempts this season.
