Ashley Young Injury: Updates on Manchester United Star's Calf and Return
Manchester United winger Ashley Young returned to action from the bench during Wednesday's Capital One Cup tie against Middlesbrough.
A calf injury previously kept him out of United's win over Everton and draw against Manchester City.
Young finished the 2014-15 season well under the tutelage of manager Louis van Gaal, but since Memphis Depay joined from PSV Eindhoven during the summer, the England international has found minutes more difficult to come by.

Young's absence always has the potential to test United's squad depth. The Red Devils’ options at the sharp end of the pitch are a little limited, with players who would typically operate in wider areas, such as Angel Di Maria and Adnan Januzaj, leaving Old Trafford in the summer window, though the latter was just a loan move.
However, Anthony Martial, Juan Mata, Antonio Valencia and Depay are all capable of doing a decent job in Young’s preferred left-midfield position.
