NFL Week 3 Betting Odds: Seahawks and Patriots Top Favorites, Cowboys Home Dogs
The Seattle Seahawks are 0-2 both straight up and against the spread to start the season, but that hasn't stopped the oddsmakers at sportsbooks monitored by Odds Shark from setting them as the biggest favorite on the opening odds for Week 3 of the NFL campaign.
The Seahawks lost 34-31 on the road to the St. Louis Rams in their opener as a 3.5-point favorite, then fell 27-17 on the road to the Green Bay Packers in their Week 2 contest on Sunday night as a 3.5-point underdog.
Still, Seattle opened as a 14-point home favorite for its Week 3 game against the Chicago Bears, who are also 0-2 both SU and ATS on the season. In fact, the Bears are 0-7 SU in their past seven games according to the Odds Shark NFL Database, with the Seahawks 0-4 ATS in their past four games.

Elsewhere, the Dallas Cowboys vs. Atlanta Falcons matchup at AT&T Stadium for Sunday afternoon opened as a pick'em at the sportsbooks, but Atlanta has since moved to a slight road favorite for the contest. The Philadelphia Eagles, a disappointment at 0-2 both SU and ATS through the first two weeks of the season, opened as 2.5-point road favorites against the New York Jets for this week. The other two road favorites on the early lines for Week 3 are the Indianapolis Colts (-5) at the Tennessee Titans and the Pittsburgh Steelers (-1.5) at the St. Louis Rams.
And the Cincinnati Bengals opened as 1.5-point road underdogs at the Baltimore Ravens for Week 3, with the Bengals 2-0 both SU and ATS and the Ravens 0-2 both SU and ATS.
