Nelson Active for Week 7

Cardinals vice president of media relations Mark Dalton announced Nelson was not among the team's inactives Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens.

Injury Hampered Nelson's Development

The 23-year-old did not record an NFL reception while appearing in Arizona's first two regular-season games. Considering Nelson is listed third on the team's depth chart, his injury is unlikely to affect the passing game in a demonstrable way.

Missing a month has undoubtedly hindered Nelson's development to start his first season, but the Cardinals have excelled without him as Larry Fitzgerald, John Brown and Michael Floyd have been dominating the snaps.
