Pope Francis will make his way to Philadelphia later this week, and with the current state of the Philadelphia Eagles, fans in the City of Brotherly Love are hoping he can work his magic and fix the team.

The Philadelphia Daily News even went as far as to dedicate a cover to the situation on Monday.

On Sunday, the Eagles dropped to 0-2 with a 20-10 defeat at the hands of the Dallas Cowboys. It was a rough game in all phases, especially on offense.

Pope Francis can't get to Philadelphia soon enough.

If you recall, Eagles fans had some fun earlier this year by starting a petition to get Pope Francis to bless Philadelphia quarterback Sam Bradford's knees during his visit. Now, fans are really hoping the pope can find a way to get the team headed in the right direction.
