
Kane Attacks Seth Rollins, Sheamus at WWE Night of Champions 2015
Kane interfered at the end of a pay-per-view during a WWE title match, and we apparently just wrapped up 1997's Badd Blood: In Your House.
As Sheamus was preparing to cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions, the "Big Red Monster" intervened, delivering a Chokeslam to Sheamus and also hitting a Chokeslam and Tombstone Piledriver on Seth Rollins. The PPV closed with Kane standing triumphant in the ring, per WWE:

As the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Scott Fishman joked, it's like wrestling fans were transported back a decade with all of the older stars on Sunday night's show:
On one hand, having Kane continue his feud with Rollins makes sense after the way in which the WWE World Heavyweight champion berated Kane earlier in the summer:
However, we're still talking about Kane suddenly getting thrust into the main event—in 2015. The company is still elevating one of its bellwethers from the late 1990s and early-to-mid 2000s. WWE might as well throw Big Show into the situation as well and complete the circle.
Perhaps Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will make this all make sense on Raw on Monday night, but the prospect of another Rollins-Kane feud isn't exactly a captivating development.
