As the South Florida Sun Sentinel's Scott Fishman joked, it's like wrestling fans were transported back a decade with all of the older stars on Sunday night's show:

On one hand, having Kane continue his feud with Rollins makes sense after the way in which the WWE World Heavyweight champion berated Kane earlier in the summer:

However, we're still talking about Kane suddenly getting thrust into the main event—in 2015. The company is still elevating one of its bellwethers from the late 1990s and early-to-mid 2000s. WWE might as well throw Big Show into the situation as well and complete the circle.

Perhaps Triple H and Stephanie McMahon will make this all make sense on Raw on Monday night, but the prospect of another Rollins-Kane feud isn't exactly a captivating development.
