Europe leads the USA 8-5 entering the final day of the 2015 Solheim Cup, with three of Saturday's fourballs still to be completed before the single matches start on Sunday. The Americans are one-up in two of the three matches, while Europe lead the third by the same score.

Europe came into the day leading 5-3 and once again dominated the foursome session, taking three points to extend their lead to four heading into Saturday's fourballs. Charley Hull and Suzann Pettersen's win over Morgan Pressel and Paula Creamer in particular stood out, as the duo completed an epic comeback to take the match one up.

The pair was down by four with seven the play but managed to birdie the final four, overtaking the American duo on the final hole. As shared by the LPGA's official Twitter account, Pettersen didn't mince her words after the win:

The event's official Twitter account shared the results from the foursomes:

Melissa Reid and Carlota Ciganda contributed to the European cause by beating Michelle Wie and Alison Lee 4&3, having led throughout the match after making birdie on the second. Sandra Gal and Catriona Matthew took the lead on the first hole over Angela Stanford and Brittany Lincicome and never looked back, winning one up.

Stacy Lewis and Gerina Piller were the only American winners during the foursomes, easily beating Anna Nordqvist and Caroline Hedwall 5&4.

All everyone could talk about was the incredible comeback of Pettersen and Hull, however. The madness started when the 19-year-old Hull nearly holed an ace on the 15th, and over the course of the next three holes, the duo just couldn't stop making incredible shots.

Tied at the 18th, Pettersen killed her drive, and with the American duo two-putting from 60 feet, Hull stepped up and sunk an eight-foot putt for birdie and the win.

The Guardian's Ewan Murray thought it was the last thing the USA needed:

The afternoon fourballs were a different story, however. Just two holes in, the Americans were already leading two of the four matches, and consecutive birdies from Lee and Lincicome against Pettersen and Hull gave the visitors an even better outlook, per the event's official Twitter account:

Lexi Thompson and Cristie Kerr were the first to put a win on the USA's board, beating Azahara Munoz and Carlota Ciganda 3&2, and Lee and Lincicome, as well as Lewis and Piller, clung on to a one-shot lead before play was suspended. In the remaining fourball, Karine Icher and Catriona Matthew led for Europe.

The 2015 Solheim Cup will conclude with the end of the three fourballs and 12 single matches on Sunday. Team Europe needs just 14 points to defend their title, which would see them win the Solheim Cup for the third consecutive time, the first time in the team's history.
