
4 Missouri Football Players Injured in Car Accident
Four members of the Missouri Tigers football team suffered non-life-threatening injuries in a car accident Friday, according to theย St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Dave Matter.ย
The university confirmed to theย Columbia Daily Tribune's David Morrisonย that the players involved in the wreck were defensive lineman Terry Beckner Jr., wide receiver DeSean Blair, wide receiverย Keyon Dilosa and running backย Trevon Walters.
Blair, Dilosa and Walters are all redshirt freshmen, while Beckner is a true freshman who has recorded four tackles in his first two games for the Tigers. Beckner was driving the car, per Morrison, while the other three players were seated as passengers.
Accoding toย Matterย Beckner and Disola were treated and released at the scene of the accident, not hospitalized, as previously reported.

Matter reportedย that the team doesn't know if any of the players will be available for Saturday's home game against the Connecticut Huskies. The team won't determine their playing statuses until shortly before kickoff (noon ET) tomorrow.
