Hurst Replaces Monroe
Behind right tackle Ricky Wagner, James Hurst graded out as the second-worst performer on Baltimore's offense, per Pro Football Focus. According to the site's grading system, Hurst posted a minus-9.6 pass-blocking grade and a plus-0.3 run-blocking grade.
"I think James [Hurst] is a very good player," offensive coordinator Marc Trestman said, per ESPN's Jamison Hensley. "I watched him play last year against New England in a [divisional playoff] game, so he has had the experience. He has played in the big games. We faced two really good players last week; our guys recognize that. And all of us weren’t at our best."
A year removed from missing five games because of a knee injury, Monroe has yet to live up to the five-year, $37.5 million deal he signed prior to the 2014 campaign.
