The 18-year-old Steven Gerrard-in-waiting is highly regarded around Anfield, with fans hoping he will one day become a rock in midfield.

Thus it is appropriate fans unfurled a banner depicting Rossiter with his head Photoshopped onto Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson's body, accompanied by his slightly altered catchphrase "Can you smell what the Rossiter is cookin'."
Clearly, some fans on Twitter weren't too impressed with the playful banner:
