Duane Brown Injury: Updates on Texans OT's Thumb and Return
Houston Texans offensive tackle Duane Brown has been battling a thumb issue since the end of the preseason. After playing in the team's season opener with a cast on, he did not appear in Weeks 2 or 3.
According to Texans PR, he is active for Week 4 against the Atlanta Falcons. On Friday, Deepi Sidhu of HoustonTexans.com reported that he was listed as questionable.
"I'll be out there," Brown said on Sept. 30, via Mark Berman of Fox 26. He also said his thumb felt "great," per Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle.

Starting his eighth season in the NFL, Brown has become a reliable left tackle on Houston's line, missing only six games during his career. He's been selected to three consecutive Pro Bowls while helping the Texans develop into a top-10 rushing team in the league in two of the past three seasons.
