Yahoo Sports' NBA coverage team continues to expand, with Michael Lee becoming the latest reporter to join the online outlet.

Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports, who is no stranger to breaking signings and trades, tweeted the news of Lee's addition to the staff:

Lee, who has spent the past 11 years as an NBA reporter and covering the Washington Wizards for the Washington Post, confirmed the news and expressed excitement at the opportunity on his official Twitter:

Even with the competitive nature of reporting, it's nice to see a peer like Matt Moore of CBS Sports express excitement about Lee's move:

In addition to adding Lee's resume with the Washington Post, Yahoo is climbing up the ladder in NBA coverage. The site recently added Shams Charania, formerly of RealGM.com, to the team heading into the 2015-16 season.

Wojnarowski has been one of the best NBA reporters in the business and brought national prominence to Yahoo's sports coverage in his time there. The hiring of Lee on the heels of Charania will only help build the brand.
