Elena Delle Donne Named 2015 WNBA MVP: Latest Details, Comments and Reaction

After leading the Chicago Sky to a 21-13 record and a third consecutive postseason appearance, Elena Delle Donne has been named WNBA MVP for the first first time in her career.

Prior to Delle Donne joining the franchise, Chicago endured a stretch of seven consecutive losing seasons from 2006-12. Since the Sky drafted the former Delaware star with the second overall pick, they've had two winning seasons in the last three years and advanced to the WNBA Finals last season. 

Delle Donne took her game to another level in 2015, averaging over 20 points per game for the first time in her career. The next step will be bringing a championship to Chicago, which she will have a chance to do when the Sky host Indiana in the Eastern Conference semifinals Thursday.
