Fitzgerald Becomes 12th Player with 90 Career Receiving Touchdowns
Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald reached a milestone in impressive fashion during Sunday's 48-23 win over the Chicago Bears, with the first of his three touchdowns making him just the 12th player ever to record 90 or more career receiving touchdowns, per Pro-Football-Reference.com.
Fitzgerald did the honors late in the second quarter, catching an eight-yard touchdown pass from Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer to give Arizona a 21-14 lead.
The 32-year-old wideout later tied Isaac Bruce at 91 for 11th place on the all-time receiving touchdowns list, hauling in a 28-yarder from Palmer to extend Arizona's lead to 35-20 early in the third quarter.

Not quite done, Fitzgerald added a meaningless, score-padding touchdown from nine yards out with under three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, giving the Cardinals a 48-23 lead that would stand as the final score.
Though unimportant to the outcome, Fitzgerald's third score was arguably the most impressive, as he threw Bears cornerback Terrance Mitchell to the ground with a vicious stiff-arm after it appeared he didn't have much room to run with a screen pass.
Fitzgerald finished the afternoon with eight catches for 112 yards and the three touchdowns on nine targets, also moving up from 19th to 18th place on the all-time receptions list (923) and 21st to 20th place on the all-time receiving yards list (12,350).
